and somehow im always busy

this whole blog thing was really a goal for me, its something i really want to keep up with, but i honestly dont know what to write about. this is why i have only had 2 posts last month.

im sure slacking on blog posting.

so what have i done this past month of January? well... I worked. i had about 8 days off i think, maybe 9 but im thinking 8. and of those days that i had off, i probably spent a few cleaning, or procrastinating cleaning.

i also spent those couple days trying to craft, or sitting there not crafting and just watching tv. 

mmm.. and one day we went out to eat at Phil's, the most amazing BBQ place in SD! the ribs there are soo yummy! i drive by that place everytime i go to work and the smell of that stuff just drives me crazy hungry.

I did this fun little yoga/pilates video about 3 times, which was also a goal for this year... not doing so hot on that one either.


AND one day for work i went to a CHA Convention (craft and hobby assosiation) in LA!!! that was really really fun!!!! i did so many little crafts and saw a bunch of really cool products, and met some very cool people.

So considering everything, January was a good month. Although Im still feeling crappy about being a sucky blogger.  sorry guys.

my own personal scary movie

ughh... reminiscing on this past year gives me the creeps. literally. Thank goodness i will never have to live through another year 2011 ever EVER again!

Like the best horror films, while there were some good parts where I laughed a little bit... for the most part my hands were over my face.. you know what im talking about... where im peeking through the tiny crack i left so i can still kinda see even tho i dont really want to... all im saying is 2012 cant get here any faster. FOR REAL.

2011 will win the award for 'The Worst Year To Be Ashley'. And the award if you can even call it that is a dull gold color spray painted on plastic, purchased from the dollar store and broke just after it was purchased. That is the only kind of award 2011 deserves.

From flea infestations to motorcycle theft, to car wrecks, to cell phone breakage, to non stop car trouble and being stuck on the side of highways, to computer killing viruses on top of people stealing money from our bank account on top of a big HUGE stinking pile of very bad luck.

I did not want this blog post to be all negative because there were some sprinkles of a few nice things in 2011... like The Price is Right with my girls, a spontaneous 2nd Anniversary trip to Las Vegas, beautiful Cali sunsets, and the occasional all around good day, but for the most part 2011 can kiss my buns.

not much of a post, but more of a hello

This is me, Ashley Owens.

 I currently live in sunny San Diego with my husband of i cant belive its already almost 3 years, Jesse.

So yeah.... blogging. Still not sure what its all about, but i can think of plenty of things coming up in 2012 that will be worth sharing!!! Its going to be one exciting year for us because we have no idea where we will be living for the last half of it or what in the world we will be doing... we have ideas and plans, most involving Texas, but everything is all up in the air. Never in my life have i ever been so unsure about the future, its like we have reached that big fork in our road... but this one has more than 4 prongs. So I guess it would be better described as a comb, Most people have a fork.. but we have a comb.

 "The Comb of our Future" - OHHH that is scary sounding!
